Net FOB pricing
Trade members buy at net rates, typically 15 to 30 percent below the one-off price a retail buyer pays for the same piece. The exact discount depends on volume, timber grade and how much custom work the piece needs. Net pricing is quoted FOB Semarang or Surabaya, so you see the true ex-Indonesia cost before freight and duty, with no margin hidden inside a “free shipping” figure.
CAD drawings and finish samples before production
For custom pieces you receive dimensioned CAD drawings for sign-off before any timber is cut. For finishes you receive physical sample boards, stain and oil swatches on the actual timber, couriered to your studio. Approving a finish from a photograph is how designers end up with a honey-toned table they specified in walnut. We refuse to let that happen on a member order.
Custom and OEM development
Most member orders mix catalogue pieces with custom work: a bench resized to a window bay, a client’s sketch turned into a production piece, or a full private-label range. The process, tooling costs and prototyping steps are laid out in our custom OEM and ODM furniture service, and trade members get prototype fees credited back against the production order.
Project consolidation
You can load pieces for three different clients into one 20 ft or 40 ft container, itemised by project on the packing list so your bookkeeping stays clean. A mixed 40 ft container typically carries US$20,000 to US$45,000 of furniture at net rates, which for most studios covers two to four residential projects. Freight, insurance and import duty sit on top of FOB and vary by destination; we quote current freight alongside every furniture quote so you can compute landed cost per piece before you commit. We do not quote guaranteed resale margins or investment returns on inventory, and you should be wary of anyone in this trade who does.
How to Apply and Book Your First Project

- Receive trade terms. We confirm eligibility and send your net-pricing terms, usually within two working days.
- Brief your first project. Send drawings, a moodboard or a spreadsheet of pieces. We return itemised net FOB quotes, CAD drawings for custom items and finish samples where needed.
- Approve and pay the deposit. Standard terms are a 50 percent deposit to start production, balance before loading. Payment goes by bank transfer against a commercial invoice.
- Production, inspection, shipping. Typical production runs 8 to 14 weeks. You receive progress photos, a pre-loading QC set, then bill of lading, packing list and certificate of origin for your broker.

We built the program for studios that expect to buy at least once or twice a year; a one-off buyer is better served by our standard ordering service.
Is there a joining fee or annual minimum?
No joining fee and no contractual annual minimum. Net pricing assumes recurring business, so if an account stays inactive for a long stretch we may re-quote at standard rates, but nobody invoices you for membership.
Can I order samples before committing to a container?
Yes. Finish sample boards are couriered at cost, and single prototype pieces can be produced and air-freighted or added to a consolidated sea shipment. Prototype fees for custom designs are credited against the production order that follows.
How long does a trade order take?
Plan on 8 to 14 weeks in production depending on complexity and finish, plus sea freight of roughly 3 to 6 weeks to most destinations. Custom and carved pieces sit at the top of that range. We give you a dated production schedule at deposit and flag any slippage in your weekly update rather than at loading time.
Do you handle shipping and customs paperwork?
Quotes are FOB as standard, and we prepare the export documents your customs broker needs: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and fumigation certificate where required. If you prefer a door-to-door figure, we can arrange CIF or DAP terms through the freight forwarders we book regularly and show you the freight cost as its own line.
